HANDS

A basketball in my hands is worth about $19. A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million. It depends whose hands it's in.

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6. A baseball in Mark McGuire's hands is worth $19 million. It depends on whose hands it's in.

A tennis racket is useless in my hands. A tennis racket in Venus Williams' hands is a championship winning. It depends whose hands it's in.

A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal. A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea. It depends whose hands it's in.

A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon. It depends whose hands it's in.

Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in God's hands will feed thousands. It depends whose hands it's in.

Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse. Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will produce salvation for the entire world. It depends whose hands it's in.

As you see now it depends whose hands it's in. So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because... It depends whose hands it's in.
WHY DID JESUS FOLD THE NAPKIN?

Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection?

The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed overthe face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes.

The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatlyfolded and was placed at the head of that stony coffin.

Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to thetomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.

She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesusloved. She said, "They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and Idon't know where they have put him!"

Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see. The other discipleoutran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw thelinen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.

Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linenwrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head wasfolded up and lying to the side.

Is that important? Absolutely!

Is it really significant? Yes!

In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have tounderstand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The foldednapkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knewthis tradition.

When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that itwas exactly the way the master wanted it.

The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, justout of sight, until the master had finished eating. The servant would notdare touch that table until the master was finished.

When the master was done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe hisfingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin andtoss it onto the table.

The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, thewadded napkin meant, "I'm done".

But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid itbeside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because...

The folded napkin meant, "I'm coming back."

Jesus is coming back!
